But if you still insist on trying, just vote and tell your mom, dad, sisters, brothers, pet dog, cat, snail, fish, and everything else pet-able, and maybe your neighbors, and their pet-ables, and the pet-ables' friends and their own pet-ables to vote as well. All they need to do is just click. =)
The stress level's been mounting pretty bad here, given that everything needs the dollar to be appeased. I don't get the system of material wants quite yet, but I certainly do know why I'm keeping quiet around some people who's been nagging.
Please vote for Nightsound. I feel darn pathetic. The rest of the competition had more downloads and listen than Heart, and that sucked. Goes to show how few people I actually know! OMG.
#1 I can't believe people are actually fighting the top spot on tBlog's Hot 100 Chart that is dominated by tBlog's internal crew anyway. The "I can't believe" part really points to the fact that, if the internal crew's gonna top the charts in any way, why bother letting others climb it? It's ironic that normal bloggers may have tons of visitors, but cos the mods or crew are mods and crew, they get extra points to stay on top and thereby displacing people with more visitors than them?!
#2 Ever seen the 'No Touting' sign? It's a big round sign bordered red, with a big red slashed across the words "NO TOUTING". So does that mean you SHOULD tout?
#3 I was admitted to the A&E last night, and after the prelimary examination, the doctors couldn't find the prelim results in the computer system! I waited for another half hour before I was examined, and guess what? 6 STUPID HOURS UNDER OBSERVATIONS in a room filled with moaning + bloody + teary + coughing + whining + noisy people! I left still feeling a bit of pain, but definitely glad to be out of that place. That's the perfect remedy to get people back on their feet for sure. And fast.
#4 Air-raid shelters in the latest HDB apartments have a document stuck permanently on the inside of the blast proof door, and the first line says, "In case of fire, do not stay in the shelter. Leave the building immediately." Now a bomb strikes, everything burns in the house, but you're safe in the shelter. ?!.
#5 This is the best one. My family owns a water purifier and the water's sweeter, cleaner, and safer to drink as compared to tap water. But apparently, tap water, boiled and stored in a flask, is still better than the purifier's.

Okay gang, a couple more days before the voting on CNet-Asia stops. If you can, please vote a few more, if you can't, help spread the word, if you've run that out as well, just download and distribute the music. I need all the help and all the votes and all the publicity I can get, so would really appreciate if you could just get people to click yeah?
And because of poor internet connections, PLUS poor health, PLUS poor poor, think I'm gonna rest a couple more hours than usual before the next post. So meantime, stay safe, and have a crazy weekend ahead.
23rd night was at the Blu Jaz Cafe to catch Mistaken Identity on their private launch of the album, "Moving On". Congratulations guys!
How do you stop a band this cool?!
Tim, Illy, Harun, Jarel, Jon.
And there's that self-proclaimed #01 Fan in RED..
And M.I. with the alcohol-induced lead singer of MizeryFree!
And with me of course la!
All the best for the album guys! And if you're interested to find out more, goto my Friendster link, and look for the name under the friends' list! Good songs shouldn't be missed.

Been milling over recent activities, and am certainly roaring for some change, something that would get my feet firmly back on the floor with room for more good things to come.
Am especially disturbed by the change in season. Have a Snazzy one all.
It's been raining intermittenly (with much gusto) throughout the whole day. Somewhat inconvenient, but definitely a nice change of mood. Definitely made this Monday a little more endearing, but perhaps just a tad too much.
I seemed to lack my keen sense of observation lately, so much so that I can't seem to remember appointments, dates, events, and most critically, the day I'm in. So no surprise that I just found out Christmas is next week. Darn.
Beaming of course, my brother sent me the most interesting Christmas card I've ever received: pages after pages of cityscapes, of things, of people, all put into a single little booklet card. Loved it tons.
Got a card from the people at 4AS as well, signed and attached with a picture of me on stage (see previous post). Thought I looked a little bigger there. But point is, it made my day and certainly made me smile lots. I suppose its the little things these days that make my day, rather than big ideals of success and materials.
Not saying I'm out of it. You get the point.
So naturally, it became a little reflective eventually. After joining forces and formulating FMO, six months in and I seriously wondered if that's what I need to switch to a more productive plane, or just simply to escape the horrors of the past. Perhaps it spoke well of the future, of how things would take shape at its loneliest moments. Then again, like the rain, it bursts when it cannot hold, and that's where my heart betrays myself.
And it feels darn good.
Anyway, I've got some programs lined up for the festivities, though I'd rather be somewhere by myself, just taking a breather, having a smoke, sipping some wine, and chilling to the groove of jazz fusion samba. Yeah, that be nice. How you spending Christmas and New Year cyberspace?
A lady brushed past me the other day, and a few moments later, she slipped and nearly fell flat along the pavement. I didn't look, though I kept watch from the corner of my eye. She was visibly embarassed, but that's the thing, people get edgy when they are embarassed and I'd rather not step on their anxiety timer at that point.
Only when she made her way again did I look. She was definitely rushing somewhere, but I'd rather she be later then never there. Please be careful.
And rush we did, picking up Prince HH from the MRT station cab stand, we got stuck in between cabs and just idly waited till we could move out, and with barely 20 minutes to go before the movie started. And we were watching Eragon where? The Grand Cathay. (*&@#!@*@!^$!)
Made it in time anyway. Good show, so everyone should go watch. I think it's better than LOD 1, 2, and 3.
Guess I'm finding my writing nodes back online. Time is of the essence. So, pulvarise.
Ow... And I thought faithfully posting every day might shift in closer to the top position. But I guess that's that - fans seriously need to be court.
Back where I am today, I always love Sundays, especially when I don't need to do anything. It's the usual wake up and eat, then chill, newspapers on the sides, deserts, milk, herbal tea, whatever comes my way. Then TV, video games, the internet, all kinds of no-brainers. The best part? The eating. The savoured part? The food. The easiest part? Follow the nose.
Anyway, hope everyone's having a good break. Seems like people are either too busy with the festivities or already on holiday cos only a few blogs are moving (yes, I do keep track you're welcomed!).
For once, I actually loosened the belt and it just felt good! OMG! The spares are on the way baby! I'm so gonna kick myself for this~! And when I'm back on service...
Was at Raffles City earlier on when I spotted the old man in clogs, harmonica and tennis balls! He was peddling at the entrance of City Hall, and as soon as he started, the crowded divided and meandered to the sides as he stood smack center along the hallway.
I was one of the little fishes that swam along the sides, but it was quite an interesting sight. Too bad the camera wasn't with me.
Anyway, was down at Sentosa's Sijori Resort to keep watch somewhat, finally went for the Fountain show again. So here they are --- highlights highlights!
Big giant 'things' came out the waters...
But really nice lah...
Got fire some more lol...
Caught someone for dinner here too - ordered a whole table full of food, then came desert. This boy had something called "kisses", a 4-seperate sticks of ice-cream in different flavors and coatings, THEN, this happened:
He was actually camera-shy wor! OMG. So salah!
But, definitely astounding view.
Oh, didn't take any pictures of myself cos I think everyone's sick of seeing my face. Then again. It's my darn blog. =)
I don't get it sometimes. Just when things were supposed to have settled down, but like a still pond that ripples from a couple points, everything gets intertwined again. I know I've ever said to live life with a little more spontaniety, but this is ridiculous.
So now that ass won't pay. And baby's gonna be out-stationed periodically. And Christmas is coming without having a cent to spend or pay! OMG.
Looks like I got to steal a tree from somewhere this year.
Jean, sorry we finished the strawberry and raspberry cheesecakes!
Had an extremely slow Sunday, more so especially when everyone's outta town, leaving me home alone. I know some people would gaga over such freedom, but I'm just too much a people's person - can't be by myself for too long.
Spent half the day packing the wardrobe, and took out some (quite some some) used stuff to giveaway; realised how most of my old clothes weren't really that old after all. It grew to become quite a liberating experience as I folded and packed, refolded and repacked the space, thinking momentarily as I stop at each piece, remember where and whom I was with in them.
Minute as I myself would be, but skimming through a little blog like that probably wouldn't mean much, but it slowed my day way down, and made me relish life just a tad more than usual. The sunny afternoon with warm breezes added a picturesque moment.
So where was I? Oh, Amazing Race, Amazing Race Asia, and CSI. Watched the telly finally after a really long haul with all that painting and reorganising at the office. Drama probably, but it did give that touch of real life in motion.
I suppose the day's been so slow that thoughts were kinda just, random and sparse. Guess you could tell.
Finally made a huge leap in my decisions to put some things on hold, so that Christmas really gets more Christmasy. It ached me for a week to finally prioritise what holds and what moves, but I guess some things can wait.
So before I shed a tear on things I won't be getting to do, happy holidays!
i have come to say goodbye
and time will pass us by
all the happiness we'll soon forget
all the promises that we break
it comes around in time
there passed a many seasons
things that took a dive
there would be no reasons just to break down and cry
we've got ourselves addictions
nothing's ever mine
everything's a fiction till we're washed away with brine
Talk about a break, the beaches were kinda empty on Tuesday for some reasons, but I guess it was a good thing. Some time to clown around without curious or funny stares!
Considering the sun was strong, wouldn't really mind how many 'donts' they put.
When you came with nothing, and would be going with nothing? Except, perhaps a soul.
Had some weird intimate moments when time sort of stood still with total strangers the last couple of days. Somehow made me realise how difficult I have been with people sometimes, and how difficult they were to me. Granted, split and walk away, but people need people. Before we know it, that's half a step into that incinerator.
Hey, land IS scarce. Besides, being ashes beats rotting for the next 10 years all alone.
Jean, see! I TOLD YOU! What exactly, I can't quite remember, but yeah, SEE! I TOLD YOU!
Kinda managed to get the album in shape finally, after like months of procrastination and hesitation. So I did what I could to bring it back - alive. And somebody's gotta say its an "ok" one. Well maybe so, but still can't douse that burning THAT quickly for sure. Test audience coming up. Who's gonna sign up?
I'm still short of one last set of lyrics to finish up. Any words to lend me?
HAVE YOU VOTED?! PLEASE VOTE FOR NIGHTSOUND ON CNETASIA! Links on the previous post and on nightalive.com. =) PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! They giving a free Nokia! Vote NIGHTSOUND!
RAIN ON ME
Silence, it grows all around me
(blank)
But maybe
(blank)
But truly
(blank)
So rain on me
Just rain on me, cos nobody's watching
Rain on me
Just rain on me
11 years after. I agree. We haven't been laughing at one another, but with each other.
I had the most silent conversation today, and possibly the best one in years. Just when I thought I would have like a million topics behind the head to release in a jiffy, what turned out was a silent array of situations not worth mentioning, but rather, the simplest of thoughts to share only.
And it was freaking mind-blowing.
That's all there is really. You don't need a million words to tell another how much you care, but just being in the same room sharing a bottle, and just enjoying jazz music, THAT's worth more than a million bucks.
Gunned.
Ran into Gerrie and Ian on the train ride home. Was totally spaced out till Gerrie started waving frantically in front of my face and I snapped out of my daze.
One stop away and they were off, but it sure was great to see warm smiles in a cold last train.
Catch them guys soon.
Last thing to pen today: I'm going to the beach tomorrow. Finally.
So I've noticed I'm a little slow on the updates. For one, some things have been happening but not worth the mention anymore, and I haven't got enough interesting stuff to post. But here's an entry on this little Sunday afternoon.
Not exactly a particpant, but I was there at the World Aids Day performance at Far East Plaza.
With a lukewarm crowd...
And not very exciting programs...
But here's one fellow dying for attention~!
Who's not very happy with the emcee too!
But at least we've got a good band on the roads! Mistaken Identity played!
I wouldn't say I didn't enjoy it, was kinda entertained by some 2nd grade band with a family fan-base who brought banners and cheers for the fun of it. Plus, of course, some really showy bands who were a tad too extreme with their, um... shows.
